There are four elevators for three entrances in the institute of theoretical physics, Justus-Liebig-University Giessen. All are produced in 1966. My office is on the third floor. Normally, I take the middle one which is more close to my office. The old elevator is diligent and has its own habit, that is: it alway climbs up to the 5th floor (the very beginning), then can fulfill its real work. Every morning (actually everytime, morning always mean something), I press the button "3", then the elevator almost alway (around 90% chance) goes up to the 5th floor, then goes down and stops on the 3rd floor. Actually, it is not too bad. it means sometime you can get surprise: it can stop on the 3rd floor exactly when it passed for the first time (around 10% chance). Then, I'm happy. Today would be a lucky day! I had to say I like this old elevator somehow!
This is the oldest elevator I have been in. But I'm not sure whether a age of 47-years-old is really old for a elevator (device). For a man, 47-years-old is still at the most wonderful time in his life.

Even an elevator remind you of much legend.
